Information only
The guides on psbios.download are written to help you set up and use emulators correctly. They are general information, not legal or professional technical advice. If you need a legal opinion about emulation, BIOS dumps or backups in your country, ask a qualified lawyer there.
Accuracy and versions
Emulators move fast. A new PCSX2, DuckStation or ARMSX2 release can rename a setting, change requirements or fix the bug a guide was written around. Each download page shows when we last checked its details. Always read the release notes on the project’s own page before installing, and treat our version numbers and file sizes as correct only for the date shown.
Your hardware and data
Some guides involve running homebrew on a console, changing system settings, or updating firmware on consoles and controllers. These steps carry some risk, including data loss and, in rare cases, a device that won’t start. Running unofficial software may also void a manufacturer’s warranty. Back up first and follow the official instructions where they exist.
External websites and downloads
When you leave this site through a link, you are on a website we don’t run. We check the links we publish, but we can’t guarantee the content, safety or availability of other sites, and their own terms and licences apply to anything you download there. Scan downloaded files and compare checksums where the publisher provides them.
