This policy explains what information psbios.download (“we”, “us”) handles when you visit https://psbios.download, and what choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web host records basic request data each time a page is loaded: your IP address, browser and device type (the user-agent string), the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site running, to find errors and to block abuse. They are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if you include one) and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and to fix whatever you reported. We do not add you to any mailing list.
What we don’t collect
- There are no user accounts for visitors, no comment forms and no newsletter sign-up.
- We do not currently use analytics tools, advertising networks or social media tracking pixels.
- Fonts and site files are served from our own server, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a font or script provider.
Cookies
Ordinary visitors don’t get any tracking or advertising cookies from this site. WordPress sets login cookies only for the editors who manage the site, and the caching software may set a technical cookie for logged-in editors so they are not served a cached page.
If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will update this page before it goes live, list the providers here and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to other websites, such as emulator projects on GitHub, official project sites and PlayStation support pages. When you follow one of those links, the other site’s own privacy policy applies. We don’t control what they collect.
How we protect information
The site is served over HTTPS only, the admin area is restricted to editors, and we keep WordPress, the theme and plugins up to date.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. In practice the only personal data we may hold is an email conversation with you. Write to contact@psbios.download and we will act on the request. We do not sell or share personal information.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has emailed us, contact us and we will delete the message.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
